Jeanette E. Scott Barker Born in Chicago, Illinois on April 3, 2002 Departed on April 3, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Jeanette E. Barker, 92, of Cottonwood died on Friday, March 29, 2002. She worked as a legal secretary for Best and Best for 25 years. She was a faithful member of the Verde Baptist Church. Jeanette was also a member of the Toastmasters Club. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband Bob Penn Barker and son, Scott William Barker. Survivors include son, Philip Barker and daughter, Mary Anne Tankesley both of Cottonwood; three grandchildren, Brian Tankesley, Cottonwood, Aaron Barker and Travis Barker, both of Neb.; two great-grandchildren, Daniel Tankesley and Stephen Tankesley, Cottonwood. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 5 in the Cottonwood Terrace activities room at 2 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 S. candy Lane, Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326.
