HOLMES, Ellis Brainerd

Ellis B. Holmes Born in Grants Pass, Oregon on April 29, 1909. Departed on June 30, 2002 and resided in Camp Verde, Arizona. Ellis Brainerd Holmes, 93, of Camp Verde. He was born April 29, 1909 in Grants Pass, Oregon. Mr. Holmes worked for many years as an electrical engineer with the Bureau of Reclamation of the Department of Interior. He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Santa Clara University. He was a former resident of Flagstaff. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helena Holmes. He leaves a son, Fred E. Holmes of Camp Verde and a daughter, Diane H. Haney of Haslet, Texas. A rosary was held on July 3. A funeral Mass was celebrated on July 5 at St. Frances Cabrini Church. Burial was in Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose, California. Westcott Funeral Home directed the arrangements. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona.
