Paul Garcia Gallegos, 81, a residnet of Cottonwood passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2002. He was born in Concho, Arizona on July 21, 1921. Mr. Gallegos was a long time resident of Flagstaff. He was a retired maintenance forman for Northern Arizona University and he moved to Cottonwood in 1983. Mr. Gallegos is survived by his wife: Molly, daughters: Lorraine Denton, Flagstaff, Phyllis Razo, Cottonwood and a son, Paul R. Gallegos, Glendale, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, a brother, Max Gallegos, Holbrook, Ariz.; sisters, Sadie Perez and Dolores Dowers both of Phoenix and Fela Gonzales, Winslow, Ariz. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Mary Vega; a brother Larry Gallegos and a sister, Lucy Gutierrez. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 9th at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church 401 N. Willard Street, Cottonwood, followed by interment at the Cottonwood Cemetery. The family suggests that contributions be made to Northern Arizona Hospice 269 S. Candy Lane, Cottonwood, Arizona, 86326.
