SAND, Lois E.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, July 09, 2009 Lois E. Sand of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away July 1, 2009, at the age of 79. Lois, who previously lived in Prescott, is survived by her two children, Dale Sand (Angie) and Linda Manson (Mark); sister Edith Weinberg (Dave); nephew Ken Weinberg; five granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson. Lois lived her life to the fullest and cherished her family above all else. "I knew an independent woman, who loved her family more then most could know. She was the Queen of penny ante poker and how we miss her so... oh my Spanada woman." A celebration of her life will be by the family at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to Sojourn Care Hospice in Scottsdale, Ariz. Information provided by survivors.
