The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, August 04, 2009 Marlan "Barney" Lowell, 84, of Prescott Valley passed away quietly at home Aug. 1, 2009. Born Oct. 21, 1924 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. Barney was a long-time resident of the Verde Valley and Prescott Valley. Barney also served in the Army Air Corps. Barney enjoyed golf and making stained glass murals. He especially enjoyed time spent with his family. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Lillian; son Jerry of Wisconsin; stepsons Mike, Jim and Patrick DuFresne of Rimrock; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Barney attended Calvary Chapel in Prescott Valley and a celebration of his life will be there on Aug. 6 at 5 p.m. located at 7367 E. 1st Street, Prescott Valley. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be sent to Yavapai Humane Society. Sunrise Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
