Alice B. (Naylor) Maglio

Alice B. Maglio passed away June 7 with her family by her side. She was born June 5, 1932 in Milwaukee, Wisc., to Ernest Naylor and Mildred Hahn Naylor.

She retired from the K-Mart Corporation after 22 years of service.

Alice and her husband Joseph moved to Wickenburg in October in 1992 from Oconomowoc, Wisc. Alice was active in the community. She had served as past president of the Elks Ladies Auxiliary, she was a member of the Wickenburg Red Hat Club and served as a volunteer at the Wickenburg Community Hospital in the gift shop. She had worked in the family retail store from 1997 to 2002. She also assisted her son Joe at his American Family Insurance Agency as a receptionist for years.

Alice was an avid bowler and card player and enjoyed bingo. She loved to travel to Laughlin, and she and husband Joseph had organized the monthly Elk’s Laughlin trips.

Alice was the loving wife and best friend of 54 years to Joseph C. Maglio and loving mother of Chuck (Shelley) of Oak Creek, Wisc.; Jim (Patty) of Oconomowoc, Wisc.;, Joe (Jeannie) of Wickenburg; and Jeff (Debbie) of Oconomowoc, Wisc. She was loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and she is survived by family and many friends.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Uvas and Katie and staff and to Hospice of the Valley. The family suggests any memorial contributions in Alice’s memory be made to the American Cancer Society. Private family services were held.

Arrangements are by Wickenburg Funeral Home and Crematory.
