Joseph C. Maglio, 84, passed away June 8 in Surprise.

He was born March 9, 1931, in Milwaukee, Wisc., and was preceded in death by beloved wife, Alice, of 54 years.

Joe is survived by four loving sons Chuck (Shelley), Jim (Patty), Joe and Jeff (Debbie). He was a loving grandfather of eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, John, and sister, Gloria.

Joe served four years in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Ladish Company in Cudahy, Wisc., after 35 years of service. He also was a long-time member of the Wickenburg Elks Lodge and was a past exalted ruler, past officer of the year, among many other rewarding accomplishments while serving as an Elk.

Joe was also a 20-year member of the Wickenburg American Legion Post.

He enjoyed bingo, golf, trips to Laughlin and was an avid viewer of baseball and football.

The family suggests any memorial contributions in Joe’s memory be made to the American Cancer Society. Private family services have been held.
