RAMEL, Elizabeth (Betty)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/04/2016 Elizabeth “Betty” Ramel, 92, died Feb. 23, 2016, at Haven of Lakeside just 11 months after her husband Clarence Ramel. They were always a fun loving couple who loved to dance and be out hiking in the forest. Betty and Clarence lived most of their adult life in the Midwest, retiring first in northern Minnesota to hunt, fish and play there but after visiting Arizona they moved to Show Low, where there were a lot of dances. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Varhol of Lakeside; grandson Rich Westling of Hopkins, Minn.; granddaughter Missie Rodriguez of the Dominican Republic; and two great-grandchildren, Luca and Emma Rodriguez, also from the Dominican Republic.
